Description
Classic Camera is a mod for The Sims 4 that allows you to play the game with a classic isometric camera similar to The Sims 1.
By typing "cc" into the cheats console (Ctrl + Shift + C), or clicking on your Sim and going 
VictorAndrade -> Classic Camera, you can seamlessly enable/disable the classic camera at any time you want. Get ready to see the game in a completely different way!
Features
Beautiful Camera Angles - There is no denying that the game simply looks absolutely gorgeous with the classic camera angles. The isometric camera brings out a lot of the amazing visuals the game already has, and definitely goes very well with it's stylized look.
Smart enabling/disabling - The isometric camera may look weird in some cases, such as build mode and CAS. That's why the mod automatically detects when you're entering one of those modes and temporarily disables itself in those cases. The classic camera is re-enabled once it's safe again.
In-Depth Customization - The mod features a fully functional in-game menu where you can customize everything on how the camera behaves. By typing "cc.settings" in the cheats console or clicking on your active Sim and going into VictorAndrade -> Classic Camera, the following menu is presented:
Localization
The mod is currently localized for the following languages:
- English
- Brazilian Portuguese
Localization strings will be available soon.
Compatibility
Classic Camera for The Sims 4 is built on the patch v1.63.134.1020 (Eco Lifestyle Patch) and might not work in previous versions of the game. There are no known mod conflicts right now. If you find one, please let me know.

Classic Camera stopped working for me a while ago so I took it out of my game. Gave it another try today as this page reports that it's up to date and it caused a ui exception.
Unfortunately Victor died of cancer late last year, the SimRealist team mentioned something about taking over his mods, but Im not sure if they keep an eye on this page.
The orthographic view looks gorgeous, but the rotation snap isn't working for me. I've cleared my cache, no problem. Still not working. :/
It's not working for me either. I followed everything in the install instructions. and cleared my cache files.
I think that your Classic controls mod is conflicting with direct control. Classic control was not working for me . I had both Direct control and Classic. I didn't update or repair my game, all i did was remove direct control. Now all of a sudden classic camera is working! So ok. Just letting you know
Your Classic Camera mod doesn't work. Don't even bother making mods if you cant make functional ones. I turn the camera mode on and literally nothing changes.The angles don't "lock"...nada. The direct controls isnt working either.
Wierd, it seems to be working for me just fine. You might want to do some due process and make sure you didn't just install it wrong before accusing people of uploading broken mods. Maybe try reinstalling/updating the game and clearing your cache files?
His Classic Camera mod, conflicts with his own Direct controls mod . I know because I took out Direct control and now all of a suddent the classic camera actually worked.
No, they work together. Try reintroducing it after clearing out your cache files for TS4. That often helps when script mods aren't working properly.
